The Mueller Report

This body of work transforms the Mueller Report into a series of sculptural roses—objects traditionally associated with American identity, here reconstructed from a document marked by political division and contested truth.

Created during the presidency of Donald Trump, the project emerges from a period in which documented evidence was publicly dismissed and belief often overtook fact. The work operates at the intersection of material transformation and cultural critique, preserving the physical text of the report while radically altering its form.

Following its release, the artist became the target of sustained harassment, receiving tens of thousands of threats. Rather than retreat, the artist incorporated this environment into the conceptual framework—engaging directly with the mechanics of disinformation by introducing satirical narratives sourced from platforms such as The Heckler. The rapid diffusion—and eventual collapse—of these narratives became an extension of the work itself, exposing how easily perception can be manipulated.

The resulting sculptures function as both artifact and intervention. They resist erasure, challenge passive viewing, and ask audiences to confront a critical question: what happens when truth requires transformation to survive?

At once fragile and confrontational, these works position art as a final site of resistance—where documentation, memory, and meaning are preserved when institutional authority falters.
